Annie and Hector watch the football match. Bridget moans about her hair, as Miguel is supposed to be coming that evening. She makes a hairdresser’s appointment with her friend Carol. England win against Argentina. Nick comes back from the audition but the friends don’t tell him the result.

Bridget is in a good mood when she goes to the hairdressers. Miguel rings, saying he wants to learn English so he can have a conversation with Bridget. Hector teaches him how to make a few compliments. Annie arrives back thinking Hector is flirting with Bridget.

Nick watches the game on video. Annie is angry with Hector. Bridget comes back with a bag on her head. She is distraught as her curly hair is dyed yellow and red: the colours of the Spanish flag! There is a knock at the door and Miguel comes in with the same coloured curly hair as Bridget.

The friends gather to watch the World Cup final between Spain and England. Annie is still jealous. England win the World Cup. While everyone is celebrating, Hector proposes to Annie.
