Annie, eine aktive Tierschützerin, führt eine Demonstration gegen Tierversuche an. Reporter Hector berichtet von der Demonstration, leider nicht ganz in Annies Sinn. Sie ist sauer, und als auch noch die Meerschweinchen, die sie gerettet hat, verschwunden sind, ist das Desaster perfekt.

Bridget and Annie live together in London. Nick lives next-door with Hector the Argentinean. Bridget works for the TV station Channel 9. Hector has started working there as well. Annie campaigns for animal rights.

It’s 6 am: Annie and Siggy are at Nick’s door holding a cardboard box. They ask him to look after their “babies”. Annie is organizing a demo against animal testing. Bridget is excited as she has an appointment with Leonardo DiCaprio. Hector comes back from the night shift, but needs to set off again straight away to report on a “big story”.

Annie and Siggy are dressed up as cats for the demo. They pin a message to Nick’s door telling him to keep looking after their „babies“ and set off.

Bridget tells her sister Chrissy about her important job and Annie writes to Nadia about the demo.

Eunice sends Hector to the Garrier cosmetics factory, where the animal rights activists are planning to demonstrate. They have allegedly stolen guinea pigs from Mr Garrier, who doesn’t just own the factory, but also Channel 9.

Nick wakes up and discovers the box with the guinea pigs – the „babies“. He talks to them, but then stretches out on the sofa and watches television.

The animal rights activists are holding a loud demonstration in front of the cosmetics factory. On the ground, Hector is having trouble understanding instructions coming from Eunice in the studio. She delivers a damning verdict on the demo and tells him to interview the ringleader, which is Annie. When Hector asks Annie about the stolen guinea pigs, she storms off.

Nick mails his friend Dan and Annie tells her friend Nadia about the demo and Hector’s interview.

Bridget excitedly tells Nick about the appointment with Leonardo DiCaprio. She dreams of leading a celebrity lifestyle and only has one concern: which dress to wear that night.

Annie and Hector have an argument about the interview. Suddenly, the friends realise that the guinea pigs have gone missing. Hector gets a call from Eunice, who praises him for the interview. She wants to air it on Channel 9 under the title “Animals are only human”. Bridget proudly shows off her new dress and fails to notice that the guinea pigs have chewed holes in the material!
