Eunice, die Cousine der strengen Vermieterin, übernimmt deren Urlaubsvertretung im Haus. Nick ist von der verführerischen Eunice begeistert. Seine Interesse an ihr verfliegt jedoch schnell, als Eunice ihn zunehmend bedrängt. Zwischen Annie und Hector funkt es, was Hector sehr glücklich macht, denn er ist schon seit längerem in Annie verliebt.

Bridget and Annie live together in London. Nick lives next-door with Hector the Argentinean. Nick and Bridget have both twigged that Hector is very rich. Only Annie is still in the dark.

Standing in for the landlady

Eunice Mountain has pinned a message to the door saying that she is standing in for her cousin, the landlady. Annie and Bridget’s new shelves are lying on the lounge floor. Hector offers to help. Eunice Mountain calls out and Nick goes to see what she wants.

The shelves are up and Eunice Mountain makes her appearance

Hector starts putting up the shelves with Bridget and Annie. Nick comes back and takes over. When the shelves are up, there’s a knock at the door. It’s Eunice Mountain. The friends are impressed. Then, the shelves collapse.

Eunice takes a shine to Nick and becomes all-consuming. Hector helps Annie with the shelves. Bridget confronts Hector about his moneyed background, but he begs her not to tell Annie. Eunice and Nick go out on a date dressed up to the nines.

Eunice shows who’s boss and makes a move on Nick

Bridget and Annie are listening to loud music. Eunice complains and shows who’s boss in the house. She bans them from having male visitors, but comes round herself every day to see Nick. Nick is now sick of her and gets Hector to cover for him. So Eunice grabs Hector.
